You Are Grounded (Original)

"Once we were a free people… flying from tree to tree… doing just as we pleased without calling anybody master."
— L. Frank Baum

He has wings. He has always had wings.

But wings are only as free as the one who controls them — and for too long, that hasn't been him. Grounded by command, grounded by fear, grounded by the quiet voice inside that says: not yet, not now, not you.

The cruelest cage is the one you stop noticing.
